Tim FalcoLos Angeles Recording Connection

Lesson #1 Posted on 2017-05-09 by Tim Falco

My first week with Donny has been awesome. I've been able to learn so much from him in just a few days of being at the studio and listening to what he has to say. My first order of business was the patch bay- I had never had the opportunity before in my life, in any studio, to ask 100 questions about how all the hardware and gear is interconnected- but, just two days with Donny and I now have a very solid understanding of how the patch bay is connected and how it allows for a seamless workflow. I was there for a drum tracking day, as well as a podcast recording, which I got to help Donny setup from scratch and really benefited my understanding of how to start a new session.

I am very much looking forward to my second week at ES Studios and to all the knowledge that Donny will have to share.
