Lesson #3 Posted on 2017-06-02 by Tim Falco

I was looking forward to this lesson with Donny because I have had Drumagog for the past year and was never entirely sure if I was using it to its greatest potential. We reviewed Sound Replacer, Drumagog, and Slate Trigger- and Donny showed me some different, effective ways to mix some killer drums. I have been applying these techniques to my mixes and I've loved the results. I also got to assist with setting up a podcast and sat in on a mixing session. Donny was able to help me make a 'sub-kick' microphone too, which is something I've held off on doing for years because my soldering skills are not very refined. As usual, another great week at ES.
