Lesson 11 dealt with getting to know your digital audio plug-ins. It wasn't that difficult for me to fathom plug-ins because I've been using different ones on my music for awhile now, but it was nice to see how to use Pro Tools plug-ins, which was very helpful. I'm still learining how to use Pro Tools as the days pass by and it seems to get easier to navagate it each time I work with it. Although I do sometimes wish there was a day that I could go to a big studio in L.A. and get some hands-on experience, I'm also grateful to have Joey helping me everyday. I learned a little more information about EQ, Compression, Limiters, Pitch-Shifting, and Reverbs, although I had a pretty decent idea beforehand based on my own experience. Joey explained more in-depth about what each individual plug-in does. It has been very helpful and it has also been helpful in getting Joey's opinion on what digital audio plug-ins I should purchase. He has been answering all my inquiries and it is a good feeling knowing that he knows most things.
