This chapter was all about getting to know the simple basics of protools. The chapter talked about all the simple commands and controls for protools. When i went into the studio with my mentor, Michael Blum, he showed me all of the ins and outs of protools. Michael showed me how to do most of the things in protools, like how to edit audio, how to import audio, transfer audio, and how to recover certian audio files if you accidentally misplaced or delete them. With all of this new information i was able to work further on the songs that Michael had given me earlier in the week. At first i was just really playing around with protools and trying to get the idea of how it worked, but now that i know all of these commands and controls that Michael showed me im able to improve the song even further. I believe that im become much more familiar with protools now and i am definitely feeling much more comfortable with protools.
