This chapter was all about compressors. I learned all about the orgins of compressors, how they work, and what they do. It's very interesting the way compressors work. Pretty much all engineers will use compresors. No matter what the job is, you'll typically always use compressors. My mentor, Michael Blum, showed me the compresors he has and showed me how to efficently use them. It was interesting, all the different types of compressors for different kinds of sounds, depending on what you're aiming for. Along with compressors, i also learned about limiter. They work the opposite of compressors. At the same time it has a similar effect.  I learned about other things such as gates. This chapter was very interesting.
