This chapter was all about MIDI. The chapter thought me what a MIDI was and how it worked. I already had a pretty good understanding about how a MIDI worked prior to this chapter. Once i had gone over this chapter i just got a better understaing of how a MIDI really worked. I learned a lot about how the MIDI worked on the inside mainly. I already knew that a MIDI was basically a keyboard that could recreate the sounds of other instruments. I mainly learned how the MIDI worked along the lines of the technical software side. When i went in for my lesson my mentor, Michael Blum, showed me how the MIDI would worked in protools. Michael showed me how you could use a MIDI while recording on protools whether you have a keyboard or not. Michael really showed me how to use the MIDI in protools effectively. I think I've got a pretty good understanding how how a MIDI workes and how to use it effectively now.
