Major: Audio Engineering

Jason Arca was raised and currently lives in Los Angeles.  Growing up, he had a love of music and fascination with the recording industry.  He started a mobile deejay hobby in the 8th grade and would play sporadically at private parties and club venues for about 25 years.  During his high school years, he started writing music in various genres, including Pop, R&B, and Dance and recorded some of his instrumental Techno material with an engineer from Sunshine Entertainment, however the demo it was never picked up by any labels or producers.

He also acquired a degree in Mechanical Engineering and took three classes in basic music and one in MIDI / studio recording.  Thereafter, he worked 10 years as a manufacturing engineer.  Since leaving manufacturing, he has dabbled in web development and helped launched two sites, Fit-University.com, a nutritional supplement shop and BoysNights.com, a nightclub event listing informational site.

With his heart still in music, he enrolled in the Audio Engineering program at the Recording Connection.  He is currently working as an apprentice for Michael Blum, who is best known for his work in the albums "Like A Prayer" by Madonna and the "Footloose" soundtrack.  Ultimately, Jason hopes to write and produce material that will hit various Billboard charts, and eventually have his own studio where he can launch other recording acts, as well.  His range of styles include Rock, R&B, and Dance music.
