So cool . Navigating my way through Pro Tools ... What a powerful system ... Many , many things to learn . I was given an assignment focusing on levels and panning using Marvin Gaye's "I Heard It Through The Grapevine"  tracks and a reference mix . I also threw some EQ and Compression plugins for good measure . It did make me feel pretty good when my mentor said nice job ... It means a lot because I know he is extremely talented at what he does . I am also working on another mix project from a band called MerryGold .  I was guided to the site TELEFUNKEN-ELEKTROAKUSTIK.COM | TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik™ - Multi-Track Sessions to get the tune . There's many to choose from and other places to go to I'm sure , but JD from RRC pointed out that . Good tune by the way . I'm working on it . It's been kind of a busy week as far as other things go but I feel like I'm getting into the meat of what this is all about and it's awesome.
