This week we went over mix theory and equaliziation. I recently moved and switched studios from Nashville to Toledo, and am so far really loving working with Brett at Firefly Studios. I loved working with Ric as well, but they both have very different teaching styles. I feel like I am doing more hands on work with Brett instead of just going over quizzes. He is really set on working towards my indivudal goals and making sure I get exactly what I want out of this experience. I have been bringing my laptop and Mbox to class so that I can learn to use the equipment I will be using at home. We kind of did a quick review of everything I have done wtih Ric and then dug into ProTools to make sure I'm getting more comfortable with the program.
