Today we discussed midi and automation. I've worked with midi a lot in the past so this concept was not as difficult for me to understand. Automation is really inteteresting! I like that you have hands-on control of what you want to do to the audio in the moment while it's recording/playing back. Pretty neat. We continue to work on the track we've been wokring on and added some more effects. We also discussed panning and adjusting levels so the tracks blend together nicely. Working with Brett is really great. I defintiely feel like I am learning a lot. He is really focused on making sure I listen and hear different things. He shows me songs he has recorded and points things out for me to listen to. He teaches me different tricks you can do with different types of songs. It's been really great!
