Today we went over dynamic signal processing and time-based effects. Last week, Brett had me record him playing guitar. Then he had me add some other tracks of him playing an additional guitar track and bass. This week, he had me add reverb and equalization to some the trakcs. It was really cool to do everything myself and figure out all the plugins and busses as well. I feel like my understanding of everything is way better now that I am acutally doing it instead of just talking about it. I have also been learning and using a lof of the short commands as well. It's amazing how many different effects there are and how many things you can do to audio in ProTools. Kind of amazing and overhwhelming all at the same time! :)
