Today was my 5th lesson with Devon and it was on Microphones. This lesson was one that i really understood. When i arrived in the studio he was just finishing up with a client of his. I waited about 5 minutes then we got right to the lesson. Very straight forward on this lesson. Went over the test about the different microphones to have and what kind to use for certain things. After we went over the test he went to his back room and took out all the different microphones he had. From a SHURE SM57 to what is a very common  microphone for concerts and  a Neumann U87 for studio vocal recording. In this lesson with Devon i really learned so much about microphones and how very important it is to know what the microphone is to what it sounds like and how to use it right. Very happy to be i this program and cant wait for the next lesson!
