At the sudio we created a set up in order to create a stereo guitar signal. First, the recording room was set up with two different amps, one on each side of the room. Each amp was equipped with two mics, in order to create a left and right audio signal. An additional tube mic was used to record the sound of the room as a whole for a more full sound. The audio signals from the mics were then sent into a delay pedal, which converted the mono audio signals into stereo. This achieved a very cool effect and made the recorded guitar have a different, unique sound on each side of the mix. This produced a very full, warm guitar sound that complimented the tone of the accompanying mix in an awesome way!
