Today we were tasked with creating a commerical upstairs in the Mezzanine. We had to get at least one source from a mic, from midi, and from sampling. We decided to create a tropical cruise commercial. I created a bacround track using a midi keyboard which consisted of marambas, a synth, and a soft double bass. We then used the mic to record voice for the commentary, as well as shakers for added percussion. We finnished it off by finding ocean sounds, and putting it in the backround to make it feel tropical. After the commercial, we went to the shop to get taught about saudering. We observed the proccess of balanced cables being sauterd and even helped connect one.
