I found this chapter extremely fun. Just from reading it, I've already started playing with more creative ways to tighten mixes. There are some thing i was sort of unaware of that I picked up, like how much headroom to leave for the mastering process. One of the biggest things I picked up not only from the chapter, but also from my one on one with my instructor Vinnie, is comparative mixing. The act of choosing songs from similar genres of the songs you mixing and putting them up against your mix. I've managed to pick up a few thing that way. Its also helped me shape the thing I want to get from my mixes.
