Last week I started tracking my second studio project with a singer/songwriter who is a well established writer signed to a publishing label. It was a great experience and different to my first project in the way that she paid for studio musicians to come in and play on her track. This meant added pressure with getting the musicans in and out on-time and under budget. We were well prepared and things went smoothly. We tracked all the instruments live and together and after a few times through the track we got a really nice feel.

We used 13 microphones on the kit and it sounded amazing. 

Next seesion we are trying to get the rest of the tracking done so will try and do some more guitars, maybe some organ, Percussion, lead and backing vocals.
