This chapter seemed to be the basis of the computer side of music and how everything we use to record, manipulate and replay sounds works. For my lesson I was able to show a song that I had created and we talked about equalizing sounds. This included the high and low passes, the bell curve and the shelf filters. As an example we focused on a 808 bass drum I had used and added a slight tap in the kick that made it sound much more relevant in the mix.
