Surround Mixing

This lesson focuses more on CDs and home theatres in my opinion.  I talked to Matt about 5.1 surround sound systems and how it has 5 speakers and one subwoofer!  This lesson then covered the process of putting your mastered music to CDs and the details within a CD such as it having 2 billion pits on a 74 minute CD.  Along with the standard CD sampling rate of 44.1 kHz.  Matt and I then tracked vocals for a singer he had stop in and he discussed using Aux sends with me and how it can really save on CPU usage on your system!  It was a good quick detailed lesson!  Next week is my final lesson!!!
