This chapter was real informative about the history of EQing. I honestly never knew that the origin of EQing was from getting better audio from transmissions. Just seeing how things like that was implemented into music production and sound sculpting really amuzes me. I use an EQ on a daily basis, just an any producer should, to get the best frequencies and piece together a totally new sound. Cleaning up the mix is a very important thing to do as a producer or engineer. Using up unneeded frequencies can really hurt your track, even your equipment. The protools plug-ins are quite useful as well to be honest. Im glad that i got it with the software.
