Date 6/12/13 Time in 2:00 Time out 4:00 Lesson 12

To start off this week in the studio i came on a the monday for an observing, client name was Jesse, and it was me Eric, a student named Alec, and another student Kevin who has graduated already.  It was a good monday, but i had my lesson on Wed and jump into EQ, learning different plug ins for EQ, learning the different filters from, High Pass Filter, Low Pass Filter.  There are two main analog equalizers, parametric and graphic and the main type of equalizers is peaking (parametric). We went over the "Q" or Quality, the starting point for the tone boost or cut in pararmetric EQ, and left to right horizontally is the bandwilth, determines how many frequencies are selected at one time. There are several analog EQ from, shelving, pass filter, parametric, notch, graphic, and compsite.  To describe the feeling i have this far into the program is excitment and whats next to come for me.  Im excited to work on Pro tools and Mbox to start recording and start with some beats.  All will come soon, enjoying this program.
