For this lesson Asaf and i went over surround mixing which was pretty self explanitory and simple to understand, we went over 5.1 surround system that incorporates 6 speakers. Also went over CD sampling rate which is 44.1khz how multiple CD's are produced in two ways, duplication, and replication. The number of pits contained in an 74 min CD is 2 billion, and blu ray disc singal layer can store upto 25 gbytes and when you are in a mix mastering can be mastered to CD, tape, vynal, hard drive. A pretty simple lesson, but its my second to last lesson before lesson 20, cant wait to move forward and cant believe im almost done, i plan on still coming to the studio to learn more and see what else is on the way.
