Learning about EQ has been a fun and interesting lesson. Not only did I learn about how to work an EQ, but also about the history behind it, and internals of the hardware that is used in studios today. Capacitors, Inductors, and Resistors are all exceptional components for the equalizer to do its job. I have also learned the different types of EQs out there such as Graphic, Program, and Parametric EQ. To quote my mentor, "equalizing is like adding color to a painting". Basically bringing out the good and taking out the bad.
