So if you told me you had a actual Pro Tools version of the masterpiece by Queen “ Bohemian Rhapsody “. Chances are I would be like no way! But boy was I wrong. Me and my mentor Joey Heier watched a video of the band’s guitarist Brian May talking and showing the recording process of the song. Done right off of a old school four track only recorder . After that my mentor went into Pro Tools and pulled up the song. Track by track we were able to hear the isolated sounds and recordings of all the instruments even the vocals. I didn’t even know you could bring a song that was recorded on something completely different into a DAW. Let me just say this lesson was probably single handedly the best lesson I've ever had.
