Tracking as the lesson is called is meant for you to layout everything needed for a session these are some things you can and should do. MIC SELECTION know what mics you want. What are you recording? If your recording guitar you are gonna want to use a dynamic mic. Maybe a drum kit ? You wanna have a variety of mics. PLOT MAPPING layout the entire placement of everything. Where are the drums? Where are the guitars? The bass? GETTING TONES test everything out. Connections,instruments your microphones there placement audio signals etc. Another big thing to note is troubleshooting! It can happen to anyone that’s why we track everything to prevent this.
