Sitting in for a Live Recording and Video Shoot - Posted on 2013-05-09 by Eric Nyquist

Tonight I had the great opportunity to sit in on a video shoot for a 15-piece band for EBE Entertainment.  The band included: 4 female vocalists, 1 male vocalist, 5 horns, a guitarist, bassist, keyboard player, violinist, and a drummer.  They  were shooting a promotional video, and their songs ranged from covers of the Black Eyed Peas to Led Zeppelin to Prince.  For the video shoot, Joey had four cameras and twenty microphones set up; plus a light show.  Not only was I impressed with the band, but also by Joey's sound and camera crew.  It was cool getting a chance to talk with the sound crew members and other students to get their perspective on their experiences.  Everyone had nothing but great things to say about Joey, Crystal Clear Studio, and the Recording Connection.  His former students who had finished the program seemed happy with their place within the music industry.
