Things at the studio have been pretty slow as of late because of the A&R position Jae has been interviewing for for Capitol Records. Jae did invite me to a showcase for the record label and introduced me to a few people that were running the event. I immediately offered my assisstance to help set up and get the event running as smooth as possible. The next thing I knew I was essentially working the event. Doing things such as helping the DJ with getting performers ready and kept up on when they're performing and getting performers registered.
The whole event was another great and new experience that Jae has shown me and I met some great people. The DJ even asked to exchange numbers with me so hopefully I'll get the chance to work with him again next time he's in town.
Hopefully things will start picking up at the studio. More to come.
