First Crack at recording a tune at Crystal Clear Studios - Posted on 2016-12-15 by MOESHETTI

Joey and I spent a number of hours in the studio, recording bass, drums, and vocals. I wasn't too thrilled with my drum performanve, I guess we all have bad days. Anyway, this was a great learning experience with respect to creating tracks and assigning inputs on a state-of-th-art sound board.

The EDM artist metioned in the last post was present the night of my scheduled Mastering lesson. I was able to observe the use of some great custom plugins Joey had purchased for Protools, including a voice gate and an incredible EQ that was able to self-adjust for variations in frequencies throughout the length of the track to prevent masking, among other things...
