This day was the first day of my hands on training where I brought a band I knew in and recorded them. Joey did everything, but he taught me exactly what he was doing at all times and why he was doing it. It was probably the best day here yet at Crystal Clear Recording Studio. It was extremely fun and informative. This is what I was waiting for, to get hands on training with a band, and it helped that I knew the guys, who graduated with me at the same high school. We brought them in and recorded two songs for them. We started out with voice, guitar, and bass, all at once for the first song. It was cool to see them record behind a click track and how they put the piano track on after Joey recorded everyone else. The second song started out with voice, guitar, and bass as well and then put acousitc and a synth from the piano on pro tools behind the first tracks. It was really awesome to hear how Joey blended everyone together how loud he made everyone. All in all, it sounded great and was an awesome day!
