Midi was probably one of my favorite chapters, becuase listening to the sounds that protools have is really cool. In this chapter I finally learned how to use my usb piano and use it as midi. All you do is make an instrument track and enable record after putting a plug in on, and it works! First make sure that you have the piano show up on your input devices though. After learning this I went off and started writing a song on piano. I fell in love with the natural grand piano sound in the xpand plug-in. I think this chapter was really cool becuase it shows how far our world has progressed in the digital world. Midi is made from binary values that allow me to hit a note on a keyboard and allow it to sound like whatever I want. I find that extremely fascinating! This is what I created on Midi. Hope you like it!
