Two sunday's ago I got the pleasure to the second to last recording session with Elk Embassy (the band I brought in that ended up recording an ep with Joey). I was helping out with headphone levels and really paying attention to the way Joey does things while the recording is going on. It was incredible. I have never learned so much in doing these sessions with these guys ever! They are all great guys and respect anyones opinions about whatever their opinion is on their music. The last session with them is going to be this coming sunday the 23rd of October, 2016. I am so excited to see the way Joey does with the mixing and what kind of awesome eq and reverb he is going to put behind the tracks. This expereince with Joey and the guys have been apsolutely incredible! They have been doing a 4 song ep for the past couple of weeks with Joey and I, and the sound that they are getting is really started to sound amazing! I cannot wait until we have the mixes to show everyone online! The vibe in the studio has been so chill too. Everyone has kept their calm and really focused on the real potential creativity everyone has to offer there in the studio. They even included me singing backup vocals with a couple other guys in this one part of the song. I love these guys and don't want these sweet sessions to end! This has been an amazing experience and I cannot wait to do this for a living someday in the future! It would be a dream come true!
