Last week, the week before thanksgiving, we finished Elk Embassy's EP. Joey still has to do some mastering on his own, but all the mixing and recording is done. It sounds amazing. This is a huge example of working hands on in the studio. I have become extremely familiar with the way Joey does things now. He is very nice to his customers and always "keeps his cool." He tells them the truth about what he thinks and really focuses on what the customer wants for his/her EP. Just from watching and helping out with setting up headphones and microphones and watching Joey do his thing, I learned alot about the industry and the right way to take care of customers. See you want to go in thinking about them, not you. Your opinion matters, but their opinion comes first. If they are happy, you should be happy! Again this was an amazing experience to help record my friends EP, and I hope to do this again sometime!
