Today was all about digital audio basic's and the need to know on the history of digital recording, and information. i learned that transducers are alot of digital audio, being that all microphones and speakers are transducers. sampling and the conversion of a sine wave to a sampled audio track, clipping, and what 0dbfs is or the red on pre-amps and other equipment. the nyquist theorem was what best explained the conversion of a sine wave to a sampled digital wave. explaining than it had to be sampled twice as many times to become more accurate to the original wave is was replicating. I didnt view that much equipment this lesson, all information was more insightful and good to know and refresh more than anything.
