Last week there was no time for a new lesson, but i got to spend two days in studio with The Works, A Jam band from Ohio that ive Listened to quite often, so i was pretty excited to get a listen on some of their new stuff. They were here about a year prior, working on the album but alot never got finished. So we picked up where Larry had left off with them previous. We began recording Guitar Solo's into a couple songs, revising keyboard parts, and laying down vocals. the First day their singer Ryan was having a hard time with his pitch so we kept on with the guitar parts in hopes he would be refreshed tomorrow. The second day i was their we got some pretty good vox. tracks recorded, they were alot closer to their desired sound, but Lerry Helped with some quick pitch correction and good compressor skills allowed him to almost perfect their sound. they were pretty impressed, as was I. It goes to show how much the hard work and dedication pays off.
Stay productive stay motivated everyone.
have a good weekend.
