Protools is alot to handle at first, but its coming along. Key commands are a life saver, and as i continue to learn them they allow me to work faster and more fluently within my DAW. The downloading and installing is a bit frusterating due to copyright protection and licensing codes, but there is no way around that. After Protools was installed ans set up optimally, i began to explore its many features and plug-ins, and surpisingly it comes with quite a but of software already installed to mess around with. Each day i return to the studio i carefully observe my Mentor as he seemlessly operates protools hoping to be as fluent as him one day. asking questions and furthering my knowlege as much as possible along the way. After familiarizing myself with protools it begins to make more sense and be less intimidating. my past lesson was all about the basic operations. Some Basic key commands and how different tools changed and operated volumes automation and editing, manipulating, and recording wav files. Ive already began to record internally on Protools messing around and hope to purchase an M-box soon to record my own music. and apply my new knowledge even farther.
