I had no idea that there were this many cables and connectors involved in music. I know what most of them are so it won't be hard to rememeber them, but I can't believe how many there are. My mentor showed me the patch bays that he in his studio, and there's a lot there. But he explained to me more about it and what the cables actually do and where they send the electricity. Basically if you dont have a patch bay it really hard to send music to different machines. He also explained that when a cable is plugged into a bay that it actually is "breaking" something. It's breaking the connection and the electicity goes through the cable and redirects it to a different machine through the patch bay. This was a good chapter because cables and connectors are basically the second most important thing other than the software.
