Alright, alright I was lazy and also partially forgot to blog. So with that said, I've downloaded ableton. I got a shortcut keyboard for my laptop and I'd highly recomend one to anyone learning a new DAW. Since then I've watched a lot of youtube videos due to being a visiual learner, and I wanted to watch videos first so I can understand the eBook better. Me and my mentor (john) have had two sessions so far, but we havent got a lot done due to us not knowing how to link up some stuff to make the interface easier to share files, that way my .als projects can be acssessed on his Mac Book when we want to work on them. We finally got it set up and our next meetup will be looking at the eBook and making sure I'm doing my job as a student. I'm currently working on a track and It's turning out great and I'm learning a lot as I go. That's all I have to say for now!
