Tab to transients! Steve has given me a country song he is working on to cut up the drums and line up the drums to the grid. I'm doing the same for my own songs, samples are easy as I just put them where I want them. Lining up vocals and instrumentation is the same with drums, but the feel instruments like guitar and keys don't always have to fall right on the grid. Sometimes a little ahead, or behind will add the "real sounding" feel to the song. Command E to create a seperation in the wavefile and Command 0 to quantize. I do this a lot!!!
