After watching Steve's Melodyne proficienado, I am ready to make a lot of mistakes and figure out this vocal tuning program out. I made the mistake right off the bat with tuning the consanants and not just leaving them alone. The key with vocal tuning is to tune the vowels as they carry the tone. LEAVE THE T's, S's, R's, B's, etc, alone! I have to admit it's tough starting out, but Melodyne is a lot of fun and very much like working in a midi editor. The key is to keep the integrity of the performance, unles you want to flatten out the vibrato and auto tune. It's all about what you are going after in the song.
