Very excited about my $1,900 Cathedral Pipes Regensburg Dom vocal mic purchase! Right now as I don't have the credibility as a producer, make or break in bringing in musicians for recording is having top quality equipment. Until I have a "sound" people want to use me for, I will bring in clients by the equipment that gives me instant credibility. The Regensburg Dom helps me to achieve this! Based off the Neumann U47/U67 components, I'm getting a very expensive mic, for a great price! I worked very hard for this mic, so it's nice to finally be tracking with it. It also comes with blue LED lights inside, so makes the singer using it feel special! It's all about the emotion going into the recording!
