The first thing I noticed about the first chapter was how scientific it was. When you're listening to music on your heaphones or at a concert or at a club, you don't think about how sound is traveling or how you're hearing it. You don't think temperature comes into play either but it does. I like to listen to my music pretty loudly to but after reading about how high decimals level can affect you over time, I will definetely change my ways. Especially since I need my ears if I want to have a career. I had my first studio session a few days ago and it was awesome. Only the first session but I feel like I learned a lot. We played around on ProTools for a bit and my mentor cleared up a few things I've had trouble with in the past. I'll for sure take those things with me and see if I can apply them to some of the beats I've been working on.
