Lesson #15

We began by going over the homework talking about equalizers that are used in studios like bass, treble, high and low pass filters. Explained the different reverberation found and commonly used such has Hal;, Room, Live, ect. After, we watched the first half of a video on live sound. The video explained all the different things you must do in order to set up, check levels, and everything to have everything go smooth while the artist are performing. At first the engineers go over basics like different types of cases that protect your equipment when moving from spot to spot. Then they tell you how to mix while in a closed in dance hall like checking mic vocals first.
