Lesson #17

This lesson homework was on post production basics. I have a pretty good amount of experience from previous work and with Brian in the studio. After, Brian had me watch a video on a "Death Row" Producer (Can't remember his name right now). It explained how he got the job with the west coast power-houses at the time, and went through  the mixdown process of the "Kurupt" track. It was awesome watching someone doing what I eventually want to do when it comes to beat making and recording. The track they recorded was recorded in the rappers kitchen at his home.  The soul reason was to capture the moment first. The producer went from how the beat was made, to mixing it to mixing down the vocals and everything. Next session, ill have the protools files to mix myself which I am definately looking forward to!
