This week I started my apprenticeship at J Intel's studio, Omina LABS. I got to sit in on a few recording sessions and was able to observe how things are gone about in a professional recording studio. The first artist we worked with was a new upcoming rapper going by the name of Big Omeezy. J Intel demonstrated how he works and talks with clients and he was able to show me the basics of Pro Tools and a bit of mixing. I learned a lot, including the science behind why music and sound is possible, and got an introduction into the interworkings of the music industry. I'm looking forward to more.
