Oh my. I can't explain how excited I am to start using pro tools. I have had quite a bit of experience with pro tools when I was going to another college. I took some music tech classes, but I'm pretty excited to finally own my own pro tools program. I didn’t really know the history behind pro tools though, so it was pretty cool to learn about how it came from AVID and all the other programs that came from them. I knew what the difference was between WAV, AIFF and MP3, but I had no idea what SDII was. I also spent quite a bit of time learning key command shortcuts on pro tools. Well, I spent quite a bit of time reading about them. I have not practiced them yet, but I will very very shortly.
