Okay so it's been a couple of weeks since I posted a blog. It was the holidays and I've been busy wrapping up and Audio Book performance, that should be on sale in a couple of weeks.
I mention the Audio Book, because I used a lot of techniques That I have learned in these past weeks to make the production value amazing. I mean the talent is pretty good, but knowin a lot of the tricks to better production really helped.
This last Wednesday I got my buddy Lawrence to come into the studio and play, That was a good time, and I think both of us learned a lot about recording that day. See Lawrence isn't comfortable with a click track. So we had to try and limit bleed as much as possbile. Moving in the guitar mics, did the trick for the most part, but nothing beats tracks withou bleed. Next time I'm sure that will be the case.
The holidays went well, although I lost out on a couple of practicum days, not sure how we are going to handle that. Things are good. I'm looking forward to the next challenge.
