About John
Musician/Songwriter/Producer/Engineer on a mission to bring a sensuous soulful sound to contemporary jazz. As a bassist/keyboardist born and raised in Texas, I've performed in various bands throughout the Southeastern Texas region and while living in the Houston area I was fortunate to watch and learn from some of the areas brightest up and coming musicians such as Kirk Whalum, Everett Harp, and Dwight Sills. Finally after the culmination of 20 years of military service, I can now devote my time to my life long passion of writing original compositions and learning the art of audio recording. I credit my biggest influences as being wife Michelle, my three sons Brandon, Jalon and JAZZ and the newest addition to our family, my beautiful granddaughter, Harper Grace. I'm currently employed as a Program Manager with Army Entertainment.
