Today was my first session with my mentor, Mark Sinko, Owner/Engineer of Salman Peak Recording Studio. After the customary introductions we got right down to business discussing the material from lesson 1. With me being primarily a musician for the most of my musical career, I had a lot of questions about the technical aspects of sound and hearing. Mark was very patient and explained everything so that even a bass player like myself could understand. All In All it was a very good first session and I’m very anxious and looking forward to starting session two.
