In chapter 3 and 4 i have learned alot about sequencers and lossy file compression, sample rate, and bit depth. chapter 4 went over connectivity and different cables and machines. XLR cables, and ts and trs cables are some common ones found in the studio today. i learned which ones were balanced and unbalanced and what the different cables are used for, i also got to help set up the studio to get ready for a high school jazz band to come in and record an album. It was an awesome experience and cant wait to be able to do it again. i will also be helping mix the tracks to. Mark does a great job explaining different things to me and im glad he is my mentor. I am about to start on microphones in chapter 5 and im sure there will be a lot of information about them that he will have to explain but i am more than ready.
