This week was almost entirely focused on mixing, though Mr. Sinko was doing most of it. I did get to do some practice mixes of the country band he’d recorded recently, but mostly I was observing Mr. Sinko re-doing his mixes for the polka been he’d recorded several week s prior. He did talk me through most of his decisions, which was helpful for me, and I was even able to make some suggestions that he took every once in a while, which was nice. Made me feel like I was getting a better grasp on everything. I did want to do more of my own solo mixing though, so Mr. Sinko suggested I set up a recording session with a friend the following week, which I did.
