This week Mr. Sinko arranged for some paid recording sessions to occur during my scheduled lesson time, which I was not too thrilled about but I know that as a studio owner he just has to take paid gigs whenever he can get them, so it was good to sort of realize that for my own potential future. The recording artist was a rapper who brought in some pre-finished beat tracks he pulled off the internet. He recorded four or five songs, with some occasional overdubs and re-records, and that’s basically all that happened this week.
